1. About These Terms
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of IELTS Department (ieltsdepartment.com), a B2B IELTS preparation platform operated by Beat Mock Test Center (“we”, “us”, “our”).
By creating an account or using the platform, you agree to these Terms. If you are registering on behalf of an institute or organisation, you confirm that you have the authority to do so, and these Terms bind your organisation.
We have written these Terms in plain language. Our goal is a fair, clear relationship — not to create obstacles. If anything is unclear, please contact us.
2. The Service
IELTS Department provides consultancies with a branded, white-label IELTS preparation environment. This includes:
- Access to IELTS mock tests and preparation courses for enrolled students
- A branded group management dashboard under your institute’s name
- Student seat management tools
- Access to the FluentCommunity learning portal
The specific content included in your subscription depends on the plan you have purchased (Mock Test Only or Class and Mock Test, across five seat tiers: Starter, Basic, Pro, Business, Enterprise).
3. Account Registration
3a. Institute accounts
To use IELTS Department, your institute must register an account with a valid email address and institute name. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account.
3b. Student accounts
Institute owners are responsible for inviting and enrolling students using the invite codes generated by the platform. You are responsible for ensuring that students you enrol have agreed to use the platform and are aware of these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
4. Subscription and Payment
4a. Plans
Subscription plans are offered on a monthly recurring basis. Your plan determines the number of active student seats and the content available to your group.
4b. Billing
Payments are processed securely at the start of each billing cycle. By subscribing, you authorise us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis until you cancel.
4c. Free trial
New institute accounts may be eligible for a 3-day free trial on their first subscription. The trial provides full access to the selected plan. At the end of the trial period, your subscription will automatically continue and your payment method will be charged unless you cancel before the trial ends.
4d. Price changes
We will give you at least 30 days’ notice before changing subscription prices. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the new pricing.
5. Seat Model
IELTS Department uses an Active Seat Cap model, consistent with industry-standard SaaS platforms such as Slack, Notion, and Google Workspace:
- Seats represent the maximum number of simultaneously active enrolled students at any one time
- Your monthly subscription payment keeps platform access alive — it does not reset or add seats
- When a student completes their preparation and is removed from your group by you, that seat becomes available for a new student immediately
- You can manage your student roster at any time through the group management dashboard
6. Upgrades and Downgrades
6a. Upgrades
You may upgrade to a higher-tier or richer-family plan at any time. Upgrades take effect immediately. Your group’s seat count and course access are expanded in place — no new group is created and no student data is affected.
6b. Downgrades
Downgrade requests to a lower-tier plan within the same family, or to a plan with fewer seats than your current plan, will be blocked if a downgrade would reduce the seat count below the number of currently enrolled students. Please remove students first if you wish to reduce your plan tier.
Cross-family downgrades (e.g. from Class and Mock Test to Mock Test Only) are treated similarly — the existing group and students are protected.
7. Acceptable Use
You agree to use IELTS Department only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You must not:
- Share your account credentials with people outside your organisation
- Attempt to circumvent seat limits or access controls
- Use the platform to distribute unlawful, harmful, or misleading content
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or copy the platform’s content or infrastructure
- Use the platform in any way that could damage its reputation or that of Beat Mock Test Center
8. Content and Intellectual Property
All course content, mock tests, and materials available on IELTS Department are owned by or licensed to Beat Mock Test Center. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use this content solely for the purpose of providing IELTS preparation to your enrolled students during your active subscription.
You may not reproduce, distribute, or commercialise any platform content outside of its intended use.
9. Subscription Cancellation
You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account dashboard or by contacting us at support@ieltsdepartment.com. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. You and your students will retain access to the platform until that date. After cancellation, your group and student data are retained for 90 days before deletion.
10. Suspension and Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate an account that:
- Violates these Terms
- Is involved in fraudulent activity
- Poses a security or legal risk to the platform or other users
Where possible, we will notify you before taking action and give you an opportunity to remedy the issue. In serious cases, we may act immediately.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Beat Mock Test Center’s liability to you for any claim arising from your use of IELTS Department is limited to the amount you paid for your subscription in the three months preceding the claim.
We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses, including loss of revenue, loss of data, or loss of business opportunities.
12. Disclaimers
IELTS Department is an independent preparation platform. We make no guarantee that use of the platform will result in a specific IELTS band score. Results depend on many factors outside our control, including individual student effort and prior English language ability.

13. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify active account holders by email at least 14 days before the changes take effect. Continued use of the platform after that date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
14. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Nepal. Any disputes arising from these Terms will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Nepal, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protection rights you may have under the laws of your own country.
